..so very much and am very, very proud of her. She has dealt with a lot in her life, but a current health issue that she is having to live with could be so destructive to someone who regularly models for income.
In the summer of 2016 Ash, my creative partner and dear friend was stricken with Bell’s Palsy, a condition of facial nerves that causes one side of a person’s face to become paralyzed. Initially, she was devastated by it. Although, this disease typically goes away within a few months it can continue long-term up to the rest of its victims lives. The bad news for Ash is that she happens to fall into that percentage of those who suffer from Bell’s Palsy long-term.
This is where I have so much admiration for her. Instead of letting this thing get her down she has continued to model and move on with her life. It hasn’t been an easy battle, but Ash has carried on mightily, regardless. I’m very proud of her for this. That takes a lot of courage and strength.
Right from the beginning I have been supportive and done what I can to help her and encourage her. I don’t mind. I’m thankful to be called on to do so.
With this post I just want to give a shout out that I dearly love my partner in creativity, admire her and am so proud of her. Ash is incredible.
