I was thinking about homeless people when this phrase came to mind.
“Being reduced to a catch phrase slogan that’s tossed around for political brownie points. Is that anyway to treat a person?”
Initially it came across as a paradox of sorts, but as I considered its significance it became clear that the context can be applied to more than just the initial subject.
